Grandpa

Sadly, Jeff’s dad passed away October 3, 2014.  He fought lung cancer for 2 years, then it spread to his brain this year.  He was 83 years old.  Jeff’s mom (aka Grandma) passed away October 9, 2012, also 83 years old.

We’re so grateful we got to have one last visit with him in August.  He was SUCH a good dad to Jeff and Julie.  Kind, gentle and faithful in everything he did.  He loved hiking and conversations at the dinner table.

Boy are we going to miss him.  We are so glad to know he loved the Lord and is with Jesus now.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
