9.  Volleyball with our friends! Basketball and soccer too.

8. Summer swim parties in Visalia with our cousins!

7. Homeschooling and Awana! This is a wild ride we’re on, y'all.  We went on homeschool field trips with friends to Hearst Castle (Cambria, CA) and Tijuana, Mexico this year.

6. Reading: From missionary biographies to American Girl books to Harry Potter. We are read-aloud addicts.

5.  Time spent in or near water:  Junior Guards, beach time, boogie boarding, etc.

4. Family time: church, parks, picnics, and bike rides and ice skating.

3. Sarah (coaster riding here with her cousin Emma) loved going to Florida with their Grandparents in March.  Disneyworld, Universal Studios and the Epcot Center were of course totally boring, with nothing to do.

2. March: Kids learned to ski in Breckenridge, Colorado.  We loved being with our cousins and family!

1. Family Trip to Washington DC in September.  We loved it all: the Washington Monument, Mt. Vernon, the Capitol Building, Jefferson Memorial, etc. We traveled with other homeschooling friends, and it was such a great week celebrating our country's history. In GOD we TRUST.

 God is good.  We are so glad Jesus was born.
