Rachel is 5

We celbrated Rachel's 5th birthday with bedroom streamers, a huge
pinata from Tijuana (which we have yet to break), an Elsa cake
(decorated by Daddy), and a special lunch out at the Olive Garden with
Grandmom and Grandad! We have one super special little girl, and we
thank the Lord for her.

Mock Trial

Our coop had a field trip to the San Diego Courthouse where the kids
held a mock trial in an actual courtroom with a real judge and other
staff! It was such a wonderful experience for the kids (and
parents)... we also heard a talk from a few US Marshalls, met their
super sniffer dog, and got to sit in the actual jail cells located
near the back of the courtroom. Thanks so much, Castaneda Family, for
making this happen!

12yo Birthday Girl

Sarah turned 12! And her world famous cake decorator Aunt Julie
happened to be in town to decorate her cake! Jeff and Julie had fun
using fondant to make a ukelele cake (with spaghetti strings!) for
Sarah... extra special because Aunt Julie helped!!

Happy birthday Sarah! We love you heaps!

Sledding Day

We headed to Carter Park with our cousins... the snow was coming down
in HUGE flakes. Such a fun sledding day!
