Burgers, shakes and onion rings at the ‘Lounge’ with the awesome Sacker Family:
The devoted Mr. Garland’s hobby: designing a tracking “following” sensor system for a camera mounted on a quad copter. He loves this stuff and is having a great time with it. See his blog post here.
The older kids and I went to see friends in the musical “Tom Sawyer.” We all loved the book , so it made the musical extra fun. Jeff took Rachel out on a date for Sonic milkshakes. Mmmm.
We love our dentist!~ I especially love her when she tells me our kids don’t have any cavities (which doesn’t happen very often). Dr. F tells me Sarah will need to have her wisdom teeth removed in 2 years, yippee.
Our lego table:
Date night with my hot man… woo hoo! Knockout burger with thousand island dressing and pickles? Yes, please.
Sarah made this Lego diorama to illustrate the bible story “the shepherd and the lost sheep” for Awana:
Dinner in the backyard… Our old table rusted and broke, so we’re using a temporary long table for now. We eat in the backyard a lot… I hope to find a replacement.
Installing our new bike rack:
Our church had a special outreach… snow cones and the movie Frozen on the big screen in the sanctuary. Fun!
Walking girls… Tobiah and Sarah push Rachel on our 3 mile walk. Tracy, Gabby and I enjoyed walking and chatting too!
Jeff and the boys went fishing off the Oceanside pier and caught a fish… woot!
Inspecting the fish before the gutting:
Our cat Pearl was so intrigued by the fish smell:
