Memorial Day Weekend

Mystery of the Missing Napkin Ring: Sarah’s been working on mysteries for school, so here’s a 3-min video reenactment of her mystery essay.  We are not professionals, just in case you were interested.

Hash brown casserole, scrambled eggs, sausage, special sauce (sour cream + salsa) wrapped in a tortilla. Making our 3-mo supply of egg burritos (about 4 dozen burritos) for the devoted Mr. Garland to keep in the freezer and enjoy on his early work mornings.

Memorial Day Barbecues

Jumping Oreos: We tend to inflict “Minute to Win It” games upon our dinner guests, and our friends showed us how to really play the Oreo game (where you have to balance an Oreo on your forehead and try to slide it down your face to your mouth).

Jeff camps out in the backyard with 4 kids.  I sleep in our comfortable warm bed.  I love my husband.

Zac graduated from Speech Therapy, so he's ready to start Kindergarten in the fall.

Morning quiet time... everyone has their own bible to read.  We are NOT perfect, but we're going to do our best to make this a regular occurrence this summer and beyond.

Wrapped up another AWANA year... Josh won "Sparky of the Year" Award... hooray!
