6 months

This cutie is 6 months old today!  She ate her first few bites of food, glorious food, this week.  

Rice cereal this week... hamburgers the next.  Right?  Rachel's almost sitting up all by herself, and it's wonderful to see her work hard at it.  But it's always a delight to be practicing with her on the bed, and as she flops over, looks up and gives you the worlds best grin.  Apparently she really likes the practice.

This lasted for about 1.5 seconds.  You gotta be quick with the camera around these parts.

Rachel's also been upgraded to "I'm sleeping in the same room with my siblings" status.  That's right, folks.  4 kids in one room, baby.  At camp, we had a "kid room" and a "parent room" (you know, so the devoted Mr. Garland and I could sneak in at 2am after drinking FoHo* shakes all night long) which worked out well.
