Ultimate Frisbee

The devoted Mr. Garland has been playing Ultimate Frisbee for the last few months. He found a group who plays pick-up at lunch a couple times a week, on a field near his work. The kids and I decided it was about time to watch Jeff in action.

Jeff's not short, so he often "lingers" in the end zone waiting for someone to lob him a disc, which he'll usually out-jump his competition to grab and score. You can see him in this shot 2nd from the right with his arm up in the air, prompting his teammate for a toss.

This sweet dog, appropriately named "Score," sat with us at the sidelines.
