It’s become a tradition that the kids and I head to Visalia (my childhood home) for a week of non-stop swimming. I’m convinced the kids learn more swimming skills this week than any full set of swim lessons we’ve ever had. Rachel basically learned how to swim this week (too bad I bought her that set of purple floaties just a month ago, oh well!). We swam several times a day, and my mom pampered us all with meals out on the back patio, that we usually eat when we’re still wearing our swimsuits. If you’re in Visalia in the summer, it’s a treat to have super fresh and sweet corn purchased from the corn field just up the street… they have a drive-through corn store set up in the corner of the cornfield… that’s just about as fresh as it gets!
As you can tell, I recently dusted off our underwater camera for some fun shots in the deep!
