After our Christmas Boat Parade Party with friends, we enjoyed a few more nights together as a family:
My baby is just about to walk away from being 3 years old:
The small pink blob on the upper platform is Rachel, enjoying a warm snooze on the Lifeguard tower:
3 kids in Basketball (yes, we are crazy parents who live at the gym right now)… Josh:
Sarah:
Zac:
(love the socks on the green player)
Our monthly visit to the Alzheimer’s Residents at a group home near ours. Sarah has memorized several Christmas carols, so everyone sang along while she played… it was fantastic:
I’m trying to get back into shape, so I was more than happy to plunk down $3 for an IKEA safety vest for my early morning runs:
Takes me back to my good ole’ health and safety engineering days in New Bedford, Massachusetts (1998, wearing steel toed boots and safety glasses in our construction work trailer):
Ha! I just found one of me in my beloved orange safety vest (checking the road base depth here):
Enough of Memory Lane. Back to the present.
Josh went on stage at church at our Christmas Eve service to participate in a fun little game, the “Big-O-Matic.” You put in a small version of a toy, and bigger version comes out:
1. Small candy cane was put in the Big O Matic, and huge candy cane came out.
2. Small teddy bear – repeat
3. Small toy razor scooter - See what happens. (That kid’s mother should have taught him how to say thank you.)
