Meet Louie, Aunt Julie’s (Jeff’s sister) English bulldog puppy. Thick, sweet and adorable:
Zac’s bowl matches the box:
Independence Day band concert at church. It was very cool to be able to watch the action from behind the band:
Sarah, Jeff, Fred (Jeff’s dad) and Gerry (Fred’s cousin) after the concert (We got to hear Gerry play saxophone with the band):
Fred recently had lung cancer surgery (but has never smoked a day in his life!), and now he is almost done with preventative chemotherapy. Can I say that he is one handsome bald grandpa!
Littleton Historical Museum visit after church:
Denver was a hot 90-95 degrees, so our goal was to keep cool and have some fun (spraygrounds are always awesome):
We used to live in Colorado. We miss the wonderful parks!
Littleton’s Belleview Park has the best little stream that runs through it… (and a train too!)
Walking with Grandpa:
We all crashed in Grandpa’s basement:
Dinner out:
…where we had some fun diagramming sentences on our paper tablecloth. Wild and crazy:
A stop by Julie’s home:
Day trip to Idaho Springs for some famous Beau Jo’s Pizza on Zac’s 6th birthday!
Beau Jo’s pizza is sold by the POUND… this is their 5 pounder… there were plenty of leftovers. Whole wheat crust with honey… the perfect dessert.
