Musical Extravaganza, 3-Day Blitz

Question of the Week:

Zac 5: “Mommy, what color are Daddy’s eyes?'”

Me: “Hazel”

Zac: “Is hazel more blue or purple?”

(I want to see Jeff with blue or purple eyes Smile)

====================

Our school had it’s “Musical Extravaganza” last week where kids sang songs they have learned this fall in class.  Zac’s Kinder class sang a cute song about fish (thus the sweet fishy hats), and Sarah’s 4th grade class has been learning to play the recorder.  I put a red x above our kids’ heads:

This next photo wraps up my week… Rachel 2, trapped in a Tigger costume while I nap (no fun sickies this week) with two cats on the back couch.

Rachel’s brothers helped her get into the costume, then when she had to go potty, her hair got caught in the back zipper so Josh and Zac cut Rachel’s hair to try to release the zipper jam.  The Tigger costume zipper never relented, so it’s been sent through the wash now due to the ‘accident.’

All this while I napped.

Never. a. dull. moment, especially when you’re sick.  Ha!

Jeff lost his hat on the Grizzly river ride.  Or rather I should say he lost his father-in-law’s hat on the ride!  Good thing Tilley hats float… amazingly enough, it turned up at the end of the ride in the water!2012Dec03-192-2

Rachel has hit the 40” height which opened up many rides for her.  Some are too scary for her at 2yo!  Her first time about Silly Symphony Swings:
