Last week we were at family camp in Forest Falls, CA. It was our 4th summer there and we look forward to our week there so much. Everybody has such a great time, but it was extra special this year because Grandmom and Grandad (my parents) joined us. As if it wasn't already amazing enough... having mom and dad there was heaven!
Family Camp highlights:
- Sarah and Josh were baptized... God is good!!!
- Sarah caught her first fish in the trout pond.
- My mom and Sarah had a great time in the craft shop painting and decorating wooden boxes and trays.
- Mom and Dad rode the zipline together.
- The rock climbing wall and the ropes course were a hit.
- Josh went "Polar bearing" (he stayed submerged in the c-c-cold creek for 6 seconds).
- Day camp class teachers were a hit: Slider, Mango, Southpaw, Skipper, Toothpick, Glimmer, Tally and Pebbles (not their real names but fun none-the-less).
- Great speaker and worship times. Such a spiritually refreshing time... good for our marriage and our family.
