My mother has an amazing green thumb. I don't. This summer, I planted some zinnia flower seeds but they didn't do very well (read: they didn't even sprout up out of the ground). I planted strawberries last summer and those are doing much better, along with the sugar snap peas I planted this year. The peas and strawberries are perfect for little hands to pick, and my little harvesters love to eat their crop right in the field.
