December 2006: This was our house in Westminster, CO after a pretty decent winter storm. The devoted Mr. Garland was just starting to shovel our driveway. Our house was on a corner, so that meant extra shoveling around the corner of our property down the side street sidewalk (note to self: don't buy another corner lot in Colorado). The little red-scarfed bundle was Josh at about 18 months old.
Part of me misses the stillness after a fresh Denver snow. Ahhh. The other part of me was so glad to give our snow shovel away (to my brother I think) when we moved to San Diego. I injured my back too many times shoveling.
