My dad got free tickets to the San Diego State University Aztecs vs. US Air Force Academy (USAFA) Falcons mens basketball game. He is an USAFA alum (class of 1966), so he contacted the coach, said he had played on the team back in his day, asked for free tickets, and he got them! Awesome.
The only problem was that USAFA is not doing very well, and we knew going into the game that SDSU was going to stomp on them. The game was totally sold out. SDSU is on a roll.
The tickets were free from USAFA, so we had to stand strong and proudly wear our Air Force blue colors amidst the sea of SDSU black and red. We tried not to be afraid for our lives.

The Falcons got off to a great start! Sadly, it didn't last... the Aztecs easily won in the end.
