Colorado Bolder Boulder (10k run): Former Governor Bill Owens started each wave of the race with one very loud gun. I think Jeff and I were volunteering this year with start line security. That's why we were up so close to the start line to hear that "very loud gun" start each and every one of the 40-some waves. We'd run the race in previous years, and it's always a fabulous day. Volunteering with security gave us many bizarre stories.
