This is where you'll find us a lot these days... camped out by the tree playing with trains.  Jeff set up his HO-scale model railroad tracks around the tree again this year.  

It's one of the (many) highlights of the season.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate with extra whipped cream.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa stuffs the stockings, the presents are family/friends.

3. Colored lights on house/tree or white?
White, white, white.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
You bet. (Thanks for being our mistletoe supplier, Mom!)

5.When do you put your decorations up?
This year we put them up before Thanksgiving, only because we were out of town.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Egg/sausage casserole and fruit salad.

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Setting out cookies for Santa, and always getting an orange in the toe of my stocking.  Oh and the music...my dad made a collection that we listened to every Christmas.  Good ole' Parson Brown.

8.When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Not really.  As a kid I think we did the whole pajamas on Christmas Eve gig.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
With ornaments my mom and dad handed down to us, and now the kids' creations.  

11. Snow. Love it or dread it?
Snow isn't my fav.  We moved from Denver to San Diego a little over a year ago, and let's just say I don't miss it much.

12. Can you ice skate?
A little.  Let's just say it isn't pretty.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
A Cal Poly sweatshirt.

14. What is the most important thing about the holidays to you? 

Remembering that *Jesus* is the reason for the season.

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Sees chocolate covered caramels.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? 

Singing "Silent Night" along with the chimes outside, in the courtyard at First Pres Visalia holding our candles and freezing our patooties off.  

17. What tops your Christmas tree?
A big silver star.

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
Both.

19. What is your favorite Christmas song?
"This Baby" by Stephen Curtis Chapman

20. Candy Canes. Yum or Yuck?
Chopped up and sprinkled over fudge... yum.

21. What do you want for Christmas?
To continue enjoying the gifts I already have:  wonderful family and friends.

22. Do you attend an annual Christmas party?
Nope.

23. Do you dress up for Christmas Eve or wear PJ's?
Dress up for church, then home for chili and cornbread, and a birthday cake for Jesus!

24. Do you own a Santa hat?
Sure, and I wear it.  

25. Who do you normally spend Christmas with?

The Fam.
