S: "Mommy, why do people drive cars?"
Me: "Because it's a popular way to get around. Some people ride the bus, take a train or ride a bike..."
S: "Or use stilts?"
Me: (Trying to stifle a laugh.) "Yes, of course."

Well, I haven't seen anyone on stilts lately, but we do have a neighbor who goes all over town on a unicycle. No joke.
